"With all this messing around with this damn vein I've lost some valuable stretching time. Of course if I start to progess again it won't matter how long I keep using the extender."
I laughed when I read that pfm. There have been many times when I also spent a lot of time fastening, adjusting, refastening, correcting for slipping, etc. I often wondered if others go through this ordeal too. Some days my fingers get sore from cranking & uncranking the thumb screws. I have been making progress, and that makes it all the more worth the effort.
And then there is the time spent warning up, pre stretching by hand, warming down, jelqing, etc. If I were not retired and at home, my progress would be less, I am sure. PE for 6 to 10 hours 7 days a week, Xleeve-ing inbetween hours.
