Penox - I have only popped in and out to this forum on occasion, not as frequently as I use to. It is reassuring to find a resident guru who keeps members realistic. 1/2" in 6 months is a reasonable and realistic goal (for the average guy). I know that you would agree that everyone is different, so one guy's success does not necessarily mean that everyone will succeed to that level (some may gain more, some may less or not gain at all). This is to simply say that penis enhancement is complex and that we have control of some factors and others we don't. This is why many (particularly on TP) recommend a balanced approach including manual PE, stretching and some would include vacuum pump to give yourself the greatest chance of success.
You have posted elsewhere that you are concentrating on length alone. In my experience and assessment of others experiences, concentrating on length first is not a bad idea. Extenders concentrate (for the most part) on the suspensory ligaments which increase exposed erection. Manual PE with stretching in all planes contributes for similar reasons. Jelqing appears to do both length and girth at the level of the tunica. If (or when) you advance to advanced PE, distinct tunica stretches concentrate on elongating its very stiff fibers (circumferential > longitudinal) -- therefore these are mainly girth enhancers. There is a school of thought on TP that girth increases come at the expense length if done together. So it is suggested that we should work primarily on length first and delay major girth work until you obtain good length.
Again it is good to see that this forum has sensible mentors around, we all stand on the shoulders of past members who have posted extensively (I call them post whores) and have shared their experience and knowledge. This forum is rich with information. So for you new guys out there, listen and you shall learn. In addition, use the search function, the old posts are not full of old information. The vast majority of questions asked in the last week, month or even year have been answered extensively before by knowledgeable members.
Good luck and as Penox says, be patient.
