Turning Blue Issue

Postby pete21 on Mon Jan 18, 2010 11:02 am

It doesn matter how lose or tight I apply the comfort strap or band or where the tension bars are at, the head of my junk always becomes cold and blue after wearing the extender for more than 10 minutes, which makes it impossible to make any real gains. I always start with a five minute hot wrap followed by some lite stretching. I realize "blue" is a circulation hazard. I don't need any long term damage on top of everything else. Suggestions anyone?

Pete21,
Sounds wierd, especially given your statement "It doesn matter how lose or tight I apply the comfort strap or band".
1. You are fastening in as flaccid, I hope.
2. If you have a foreskin, you are retracting it fully, before fastening.
3. Are you using one of the foam comfort pads or some other type of wrap (gauze, cotton pad, etc) to add a layer of buffering between your skin and the fastening strap/noose.
I suppose you may need a period of adapting & building up, but I am kind of puzzled.

"Yes" to questions 1-3. Once the strap/band is on tight enough (so that I dont "flop out") I start to go cold in about 5-10 minutes. Maybe longer or shorter tension bars? I dunno. Side note question: If I am a 6, is it sufficient to stretch to a 6.5? Any more than 1/2 inch stretch deffinitely gets uncomfortable.

Pete,
You might want to start a new thread in th X4 support forum, vs here in the mens lounge.
Perhaps a hot rice sock, source of heat, would help in circulation. Maybe try only extending .25" for a week before going further.
edit:
This may be that you have been pulling so far as to cause a vein to so narrow that you have minimal blood flow. Like if you grab both ends of a rubber tube and stretch it, it gets very narrow inside.
