So I received my X4 yesterday and I have some concerns with strapping in. My flaccid length is around 2.5" and my erect length is around 5.75". I am using the 1" extender bars, in order to get a bit of stretch. I am finding that I can only get strapped in while the base and the support piece are not connected. When I connect the two pieces it is a comfortable stretch that is close to my erect length.
The other problem I'm having is with the support piece and comfort strap. Being uncircumcised, I have been using the guaze (mummifying the head of my dick) which has allowed me to strap in without pinching. I am pulling back my foreskin when I do the wrap, but I still have to tighten the comfort strap down to the point that my head gets the "cold" feeling and starts looking discoloured.
Are there any tricks to avoiding the cold head? Or for strapping in?
I've searched the forum for info on these two topics and I haven't come back with much luck.
I would like to find a solution that doen't involve ordering parts.

An ice cold, dark purple (to almost black) is not a good thing, no matter what any one on this ays about no pain, no gain. I use a modification of the Jez extender method (I have an X4) to tape up to strap in with less strap tension. Use Coban cohesive tape (made by 3M. It is a latex impregnated gauze that sticks to itself not the skin, if you are latex allergic DO NOT USE COBAN!
. I use the 1" tape. I am circumcised. I first put down 2 - 3 wraps of the roller gauze while stretching the penis (all below the head of the penis. Then starting about 1/2 inch below the head, I make my first wrap using the tension instructed in the package insert. After uverlapping once, I wrap behind the head, not on it. and wrap 3 wraps until I finish below the roller gauze toward the base. I am only including the last 1/'4 of my penis. Treat your strap with alcohol befor you use it. This ensures that the latex of the Coban is sticky to the silicon of the strap. I'm able to strap in with less tension and a cool but not cold head.

How can you tell if the strap is too tight. Listen to your penis, it is communicating. A cool head is not a problem. Think of you hands on cool days when the body slows down blood flow to the extremities to keep the central body warm. Your hands get cool. When you put on the strap you decrease blood flow in and out. Test with a capillary refill test. Press on a portion of the penis head with your index finger to blanch the head pushing blood out. If it takes less than 3 seconds, things are fine. (Try on your flaccid unstrapped penis to get a baseline observation.) If it takes longer than 3 seconds you are starving the head of blood flow (the head is in shock). If you can't get the penis to blanch at all (particularly if its dark purple to black and as cold as a hot dog in the fridge), you are cutting off out flow. The penis tells you its head is ischemic (lacking oxygen) by causing unbearable pain which will cause you to have to unstrap and decrease your extended continuous stretching. You only have one penis and one head (little head that is) and you'd like to keep it. Think with your big head. Keep the thought of frostbite and lost fingers in mind the next time you strap in. . Try Coban.
